After a one-year absence due to the coronavirus pandemic, this weekend saw the return of The Open Championship, celebrating its 149th anniversary. The tournament was hosted at Royal St George's on the Kent Coast, with 32,000 spectators, in the glorious sunshine with views over the English Channel.
24 year old Colin Morikawa from the USA was this year's winner, finishing 15 under par by two shots over Jordan Spieth and by four over 2010 winner Louis Oosthuizen and reigning U.S. Open champion Jon Rahm.
